The Royal Homes is a beautiful and tranquil oasis... both an historic sanctuary and a warm and friendly home. Best of all it is my home.

What is SSAFA’s Residential Housing?

SSAFA runs its own independent living housing for members - of all ranks - of the Armed Forces, and their immediate family.

This housing is known as the Royal Homes Wimbledon and is a beautiful set of buildings surrounding a flower-lined lawn, built in the 19th century.

Anyone with a Forces connection can apply for housing at the Royal Homes.  A monthly rental fee is required, details of which can be found on our Royal Homes Wimbledon webpages:

SSAFA's services are only available to people who have received at least one day's pay from the Armed Forces (British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, Royal Marines, including Reserves), or are in the immediate family of someone who served.
