Part of SSAFA's work is helping those who have made poor decisions, and found themselves on the wrong side of the law, rebuild their lives, and assist them in their rehabilitation.
A Leeds geologist is running 30 marathons for 30 charities in her 30th year to raise £30,000.
£5,000 grant will support SSAFA beneficiaries in the Glasgow area.
