The Thorney Island Serving Community Team looks after all those working and living at Baker Barracks, and their families.
We are currently recruiting for the following roles (please click on the button to find out more and apply):
Lead your Serving Community Team as chair, managing projects, liaising with the wider network and resolving issues.
Organise and manage the workload and training of all the community volunteers in your area.
Organise networking and publicity events and increase the reputation of your Serving Community Team.
Manage the accounts and provide financial reports for your Serving Community Team.
Develop and manage your team's fundraising plan and events.
Help organise and deliver funding grants to those in need.
Manage the Serving Community Team's meetings, events and other administrative tasks.
Help manage the activities of the other volunteer members of your Serving Community Team.
Develop social groups and facilitate community activities within the local serving community.
Provide hands-on support in your local area to those who come to SSAFA in need.
