Sodexo work across MOD sites throughout the UK, delivering a wide range of catering and food services to meet the unique and varied needs of the whole force.
Sodexo has supported SSAFA since 2008, from being one of the first to sign up in support of SSAFA’s Friendly to Forces campaign, to providing support through volunteering, employee fundraising, sponsorship and by providing vital support to our key services through the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation.
Over the years, Sodexo and the Stop Hunger Foundation have donated over £500,000 to SSAFA, helping us to address the urgent issue of deprivation amongst ex-servicemen and women and their families. Ensuring those that need it have support to access essential household items, as well as helping with the rising need for emergency food and grocery supplies.
In 2023 the Stop Hunger Foundation increased its annual donation to the Sodexo Homelessness Fund from £35,000 to £50,000 to meet the needs of the continuing cost of living crisis.
Paul Anstey, CEO Sodexo Government UK&I: “Our partnership with SSAFA spans over 15 years. From financial support through to volunteering, fundraising, and taking part in SSAFA’s mentoring scheme, working with SSAFA gives us a fantastic opportunity to make a different to the Armed Forces’ community.
"It’s a partnership that we’re truly proud of and we look forward to continue working together as we move into the future.”
