Amey Defence Services

This valued 5-year partnership helps fund SSAFA's mentoring service, which supports wounded, injured and sick personnel struggling with the transition to civilian life.

We are very proud of our relationship and the support provided by Amey, which has raised over £200,000 since the partnership began in 2015.

Amey employees have also really gone the extra mile for SSAFA since the partnership was launched in 2015, with mountain climbs, whitewater-rafting, cycle rides and the ever-popular cake sales helping to drive the joint activity forward. The central business and supply chain have also been huge supporters of SSAFA, helping to ensure that SSAFA’s first-ever Gala Dinner in 2016 was a great success.

Amey recognises the contribution that our Armed Forces and their families make to our country. We understand the important job our Service personnel do and as well as supporting them through our work, we are proud to be able to support them in other ways too.

We are really proud of our charity partnership with SSAFA, which allows us to further strengthen our ties with our military community, with particular focus on expanding their mentoring scheme which aims to motivate, support and empower Service leavers to make a successful transition from the Armed Forces and achieve their true potential in their lives outside the military.
