Landmarc sponsors SSAFA's Ride the Plain event

08 September 2023

SSAFA’s ‘Ride the Plain’ event is being held on 17 September 2023 at the Royal School of Artillery, Larkhill in Wiltshire and SSAFA is delighted to announce that Landmarc are sponsoring the event.

Landmarc will be entering a cycle team who will be trying their luck at beating the military teams on the day. The reigning champions are the Royal Engineers’ Cycling and Triathlon team who sped around the 100 mile route last year.

Hannah Siddle, Senior Challenge Events Officer said: “This is a fun event, designed for all levels of bike riders. Our friendly team is on hand to help with everything, and give you lunch on your return. Everyone gets a SSAFA cycle vest and goodies, but the best part is that you are helping to raise funds for such a deserving cause. We are very grateful to Landmarc for their kind offer of help and wish their team well with the challenge.”

Chris Ockleton, Landmarc Regional Operations Manager for Southwest, adds: “Landmarc is thrilled to be both sponsoring and taking part in the Ride the Plain bike ride. It’s a fantastic local event, and I wish all the Landmarc participants the best of luck, and well done for riding to raise awareness for such a good cause!”
