Forces Cars Direct raises thousands for SSAFA

15 September 2023

Lincoln business Forces Cars Direct, who specialise in providing wheels to military personnel and veterans, have donated over £30,000 to SSAFA!

The funds raised will go towards maintaining regional support for those in need in the East Midlands area and were generated by the company giving a donation to the charity every time they sell a car.

Sarah Harris, SSAFA Regional Fundraising Officer, said: ““SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, appreciates the phenomenal support that Forces Cars Direct have given us over the years.  We are now looking forward to our partnership evolving and creating more opportunities for working together and raising awareness of SSAFA and the work we undertake.”

Gemma Summerfield of Forces Cars Direct said, “SSAFA have been our chosen charity partner for a number of years, and it is both a privilege and honour to support their ongoing work helping past and present members of the Armed Forces.

“As a company that specialises in giving back to the Military Community, we have pledged to make a donation for every car sold and continue our support to SSAFA as an extension of our core values. Particularly in the current economic climate, we understand the difficulties faced by many and the importance of the work undertaken by SSAFA. Their time, dedication, and commitment over the last 130 years to our troops across the UK and at Operating bases around the world is nothing short of incredible. From all the Team here at Forces Cars Direct, thank you.”
