SSAFA London South West AGM 2024

On Wednesday 15 May 2024, the SSAFA London South West Branch held its Annual General Meeting at the Reserve Forces Centre in Kingston Upon Thames.

The event was attended by Branch volunteers, members of the London Regional Office, and guests from Haig Housing in Morden with which the Branch works closely. Also in attendance were the SSAFA National Vice Chair, Wing Commander (retd) Kirsty Bushell CBE and Brigadier (retd) David Santa-Olalla DSO MC, the new London Region Representative and the great great grandson of Sir James Gildea.

In his report, Rod Croucher - the Branch Chair, reflected on the successes and challenges the Branch had faced over the course of the past year and used the opportunity to thank members of the Branch for their hard work, commitment, and enthusiasm in helping our beneficiaries. He ended his report by setting out the Branch’s objectives for the year ahead.

The AGM ended with Kirsty Bushell presenting Long Service Certificates and Sir James Gildea Awards to Branch volunteers.
