Celebrating remembrance in the London SW Branch area

Over the Remembrance weekend and subsequent days, our volunteers were engaged in commemoration events right across the branch area from Croydon in the East to Richmond in the West.

On Remembrance Sunday, our volunteers laid wreaths at events in New Addington and the official Croydon Borough parade, in Sutton at the big parade in Belmont, at the Kingston Borough parade, and at the Richmond Borough event.

We also laid wreaths at Wimbledon AFC in Merton, before their Saturday home match, at the Haig Housing estate in Merton, and also attended the Harrodian School remembrance event.

It was very emotional and a great honour to be part of these events and to help raise awareness of the support we can offer to veterans in our six London boroughs.
