Inverness-Shire & Western Isles branch at the Inverness Highland Games

The Inverness-shire & Western Isles Branch of SSAFA took an active part in this year's Inverness Highland Games. The Branch volunteers, supported by 3 Scots based at Fort George and Inverness Air Cadets undertook a number of stewarding duties across the site, helping to ensure a safe and memorable day was had by all.

Message from David Hurley, branch chair: "We understand the importance of this event to the local community and this was an excellent opportunity to not only support the event, but also to raise SSAFA's profile and make people aware of the important support we continue to provide to our veterans and their families across the Inverness area".
