Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2024
09 June 2024
SSAFA Grampian attended Aberdeen's biggest ever Kiltwalk on Sunday 2 June. Our branch secretary, Shirley alongside Scott Cunningham, Challenge and Community Events Officer enjoyed the great atmosphere while cheering on our 25 participants. Among those were Ellie, SSAFA Grampian caseworker, accompanied by her two friends Jane and Jasmin.
David Hurley, SSAFA Inverness-shire and Western Isle branch chair and Anna, Paul, Jason and Matthew are taking on all four kiltwalks in aid of SSAFA the armed forces charity. This dedication to fundraising is very admirable and we wish them the greatest success on the upcoming challenges.
A shout-out to the team from SSAFA Service Community Team - Moray for travelling to Aberdeen and also taking part in the kiltwalk.
The Mighty Stride at 18 miles and The Wee Wander at 4 miles are both valiant efforts to raise awareness and important funds for charities such as SSAFA. We extend our greatest gratitude to all who took part and we look forward to doing it all again in 2025!
