In celebration of Armed Forces Week, Milbank Concrete Products, Cadman Cranes, and Sui Generis collectively pledged a donation of £1,050 to SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
John Arthur, Divisional Secretary, and James Dodson, Divisional Treasurer, of the Braintree division of SSAFA Essex were on hand to accept the group’s generous donation. Working specifically with SSAFA Essex means that the money goes directly towards supporting those within the local community, providing a range of support services from physical to emotional care.
Philip Maxwell, Production Director at Milbank Concrete Products, said this about SSAFA: “As signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant, Milbank Concrete Products, Cadman Cranes, and Sui Generis are committed to supporting the Armed Forces Community.
“We recognise the value Serving Personnel, both regular and Reservists, Veterans, and military families contribute to our businesses, community, and country. We employ many ex-servicemembers and will always support charities that support those individuals and their families.”
