SSAFA Forces Help is a leading charity in the provision of support to the armed forces, its families, and the wider veterans community. In today’s climate, with the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, the work done by SSAFA’s volunteers is as vital as it has ever been. We have over 6,000 volunteers based in the UK and overseas and it is the responsibility our training department to ensure that our volunteers are fully trained to carry out their roles.

As the post-holder you will be responsible for promoting and developing accepted good practice in the design and delivery of training, which will involve managing a team of trainers to ensure that the highest training standards are maintained. You will also, in collaboration with departmental Directors, be responsible for reviewing, designing and developing appropriate training programmes for all our volunteers.
