We provide experienced, non-judgemental and friendly advice, as well as a variety of practical services which cover a range of social, family and financial issues. All our dealings are confidential and anybody who approaches us for help is treated with dignity and respect. More information...

Stepping Stone Homes
Our Stepping Stone Homes provide accommodation for separated families and offer them ‘breathing space’ and time to reflect. They are open to women, with or without children, who are serving, ex-Service or dependants of Service or ex-Service personnel in need of somewhere to live. Our staff are also able to offer help and advice on finding permanent accommodation. More information...

Supporting Prisoners and their Families
In 2004 the Veterans Policy Unit led an initiative to support Veterans who were serving a prison sentence and their dependants. The aim of the ongoing initiative is to reduce re-offending within the ex-Service community. Working in partnership with the Royal British Legion we have successfully assisted clients and their families with immediate needs, essential household items, children’s clothing and practical advice and information on housing and resettlement. We cannot make cash grants or provide legal support. More information...
