A home-from-home for heroes’ families

On the 14th February 'SSAFA Norton House' was opened in Ashtead, Surrey. The six-bedroom home will enable families to stay nearby whilst visiting their loved ones at the Defence Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court. Many have been seriously injured whilst serving on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Referrals to the home will be made by staff at Headley Court.

We are now working hard to provide similar accommodation close to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham, usually the first port of call for badly injured servicemen and women.
